Somebody call Michael Merchant! White Bigfoot reported in Maine!

Making the rounds on the wire is a recently reported White Sasquatch sighting in Litchfield, Maine.

Like too many reported Bigfoot sightings, there was low visibility, inclement weather, lack of a credible witness...

BUT THAT DOESN'T STOP US!


Using only the initials M.P. (Mysterious Person??), the witness gave his quote to Cryptozoology News:

“I reckon there wasn’t much visibility, as you can imagine with this amount of snow. But I ain’t blind, man, I know what I saw, and my dog got out of control, barking at it, he never barks this much, he was pulling me like I’ve never seen him do before. When I first noticed it I thought it was a bear or something, but that was something else. It moved fast and like a human. It was fat, huge, and it had white long hair everywhere. Looked like a white bigfoot or something, no kidding. Look I don’t believe there are bigfoots or anything here, or in America or anywhere the world, for that matter, but either that was some guy in a costume or I will have to change my mind about the whole bigfoot deal. Now, who would be willing to dress up like this in this foul weather and get run over by a car or something? No sir, that must have been some animal, only I don’t know what kind of animal it was.”

He said the creature moved right in front of him and his dog, in such a fast fashion that it “seemed impossible for a human to perform a hoax like this”.

“It stopped right in front of us, looked at us, growled at my dog, until he stopped barking. I couldn’t see his eyes well, but they looked brown to me, but very very dark,almost black. Big mouth, like a monkey, with big sharp teeth. I tell you, a freak.”

Also included was the ever present phrase, “It ran so fast. At some point I saw it using its four legs, looking back at us, but we were frozen.”

Lacking from this encounter was any strand of the white hair or pictures (with scale) of the track line. Given the weather and the lack of technical skills by the witness, I'll let this one slide.

Personally, due to seeing this creature on Christmas Eve, I feel he just saw old Saint Nick bare-assin' it through the woods because hubby was on his way back home!
